Bedbugs
Every rental building files a bedbug report with HPD each year: infested apartments, and those treated. This counts buildings reporting any. Filings became near-universal in 2021, so earlier years are fewer buildings.

Facades
Buildings over six stories have their facades inspected every five years (cycle 10 now). An unsafe facade needs a sidewalk shed until it’s fixed: most of the sheds on the city’s streets.
